Aga Khan Health Service AKHS Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Project Management, Social Sciences, or related health fields.
Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in health-related fields, specifically in immunization, MCH, nutrition, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
As a District Coordinator, your role will be essential in improving health services across the district. Your primary duties will include:
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with district-level stakeholders, including DHOs (District Health Officers), MS (Health Facility Level), LHWS (Lady Health Workers), Vaccinators, and Union Council-level notables. These relationships are key to ensuring the smooth implementation of health-related activities, particularly in immunization and nutrition.
Program Management: Lead and supervise health-related activities across the district, working closely with internal program teams. You will be responsible for planning and conducting health initiatives funded by donors.
Progress Monitoring: Conduct regular review meetings with District Health Management Teams (DHMT) and ensure that all projects stay on track according to the project work plan and timeline.
Activity Planning: Develop, implement, and monitor detailed activity plans in line with the project’s goals and deliverables.
