Are you a retired ASM/SM seeking an opportunity to contribute your expertise to Pakistan Railways? The Divisional Office Multan invites applications for the position of Assistant Station Master (ASM) Gr-I (BS-10) on a one-year contractual basis, extendable upon approval by the Ministry of Railways.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Eligibility:
    • Only retired ASMs/SMs can apply.
    • Individuals compulsorily retired, dismissed, or removed from service, or those retired on medical grounds, are ineligible.
  2. Age Limit:
    • The maximum age for contractual appointment is 62 years, extendable upon approval by the Ministry of Railways.
  3. Preference Criteria:
    • Candidates with prior experience working on the CBI System will be preferred.
    • Applicants holding a domicile of Multan Division will also be given preference.
  4. Mandatory Requirements:
    • Selected candidates must undergo the R-12 mandatory training course at Pakistan Railways Academy Walton, Lahore.
    • Appointees will need to clear a medical examination conducted at Pakistan Railways Hospital, Multan.
  5. Compensation:
    • Pay and allowances as per BS-10 under contractual policy guidelines.
    • Gratuity and pension benefits are not applicable.
  6. Work Assignment:
    • Candidates must be willing to work at any station within Multan Division.
  7. Administrative Rights:
    • The competent authority reserves the right to reject applications or terminate contracts without prior notice or reason.
  8. Interview & Formalities:
    • Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
    • No TA/DA will be provided for interviews or medical examinations.
  9. Vacancy Changes:
    • The number of vacancies is subject to change without prior notice.

Required Documents

Candidates must attach attested copies of the following:

  1. Educational certificates.
  2. CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card).
  3. Domicile certificate.
  4. Character certificate issued by the police authority.
  5. Three passport-size photographs.
  6. Photocopy of the pension book.
  7. Railway identity card.
  8. Retirement or LPR notice.
  9. Service certificate issued by the Divisional Office.

  1. Submit your application on plain paper, including a complete bio-data and attested copies of the required documents.
