The Health Department Karachi Jobs Notice 2024 has been announced in Karachi Pakistan. The Government of Sindh (hereinafter referred to as the Borrower) has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA), referred to as “the Bank,” in the form of a credit (the Credit) to cover the cost of strengthening the National Health Support Program in the Sindh Province. The Program Director, Sindh Health Support Program (SHSP), Health Department, Government of Sindh, in collaboration with the World Bank (WB), intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this credit for payment of the following individual consulting services. The consulting services will be procured on a contract basis as detailed below with PPS positions:

Experience and Skills Required:
- Public Health Specialist: MBBS with a Master’s in Health Services Delivery or Public Health Program Development, with at least ten years of relevant experience in policy management/public health/healthcare management. Proficient in research and analytical skills with a solid understanding of health development and health systems. Strong computer skills are essential.
- Surveillance and Research Specialist: MBBS with a Master’s degree in Health or Health Program Research and Surveillance with ten years of relevant experience. Expertise in epidemiology/biostatistics and familiarity with software such as SPSS, SAS, or STATA. Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication and analytical skills.
- Communication Specialist: Master’s degree in Media, Communications, Public Administration, or related fields with twelve years of relevant experience in the public or private sector, including skills in developing and promoting health messages and materials (SBCC/IEC).
- Financial Management Specialist: Master’s degree in Finance/Economics, preferably with experience in financial management, audit, or accounts with a minimum of ten years of experience. Additional qualifications (ACCA, CA, ICMA) will be considered a plus. Strong knowledge of financial demands, expenditure planning, and public audit/account control is essential.
- Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist: Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, or Social Sciences with ten years of relevant experience in monitoring, evaluation, and research. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with SPSS, SAS, or equivalent software. Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Gender and Training Specialist: Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Sociology, Anthropology, or related fields with ten years of relevant experience in both governmental and non-governmental sectors, with knowledge of gender-based violence and grievance management.
