Position Details – Assistant Director (Infrastructure Engineer)
Age Limit: Maximum 37 Years. Note: 5 years’ relaxation in age is already included in the above age limit.
Contract Type: Contract basis with 6 month probation period (extendable if required).
Educational Background Required
1. Bachelor’s (4 Years) in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent in a related field from an HEC recognized university. Degrees must be attested by HEC.
2. Master’s degree will be preferred in the relevant field.
Professional Experience
Preferably 3 years of post-qualification experience in similar role(s).
Responsibilities, Skills & Competencies
The Assistant Director (Infrastructure Engineer) will work on NADRA’s Digital Economy Enhancement Project. Key requirements include:
1. OpenShift & CI/CD: Hands-on experience in OpenShift deployment, configuration, administration, and CI/CD pipeline creation for enterprise applications.
2. Disaster Recovery: Practical experience in designing and implementing Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions, including backup, restore, and failover testing.
3. DevOps Toolchains: Practical exposure to CI/CD tools and DevOps toolchains for application deployment and lifecycle management.
4. Virtualization & Containers: Experience working with virtualization technologies (VMware or equivalent) and container orchestration platforms such as OpenShift or Kubernetes.
5. Infrastructure Automation: Strong practical experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Chef for configuration management and infrastructure automation.
6. Linux/Unix Administration: Solid hands-on experience in Linux/Unix system administration, shell scripting (Bash), and performance troubleshooting.
