Job Responsibilities – Sub Engineer Civil NUML
The selected Sub Engineer (Civil) will be responsible for:
1. Construction & Maintenance: Supervision of construction and maintenance of buildings, roads, and civil infrastructure at NUML Main Campus.
2. Site Inspection: Daily inspection of ongoing civil works, repair, and maintenance activities.
3. Quality Control: Ensure quality of construction material and compliance with engineering standards.
4. Bill Verification: Assist in measurement of works, preparation of bills, and verification of contractor payments.
5. Reporting: Prepare progress reports and report to Engineer/Project Director.
6. Government Works: Experience of working in government departments/autonomous bodies is mandatory.
Conditions for NUML Sub Engineer Jobs 2026
1. 1. DAE Civil Holders: Candidates with 3-year Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Civil Technology from Government Polytechnic Institute.
2. Experience Required: Minimum 2 years post-diploma experience in construction/maintenance of buildings/roads in Government Department or Autonomous Body. Private sector experience not acceptable.
3. Government Experience: Must have worked in C&W Department, Pak PWD, MES, Cantonment Board, WASA, PDA, CDA, or any Federal/Provincial government organization.
4. Pakistani Nationals: Only Pakistani Nationals eligible. Dual/foreign nationality not allowed.
5. Age Limit: Not specified in ad, but general government contract policy applies. Usually up to 45 years for Sub Engineer posts.
