Pakistan Railways PSDP Project Recruitment Position Breakdown & Eligibility Criteria
1. Marketing Expert (02 Posts)
- Project Pay Scale: PPS-03
- Age Limit: Maximum 45 Years
- Educational Qualification:
- MBA / BS (Marketing) or Supply Chain Management (SCM) related discipline.
- Minimum 16 years of education from an HEC/PEC recognized institution.
- Experience & Key Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in Marketing, Business Development, Market Research, or Customer Analytics (preferably in transport, logistics, public sector, or service industry).
- Expertise in collecting/analyzing customer data, setting KPIs, designing online marketing initiatives, evaluating pricing strategies, and setting up analytics tools.
2. Senior Officer IT (01 Post)
- Project Pay Scale: PPS-08
- Age Limit: Maximum 45 Years
- Educational Qualification:
- BS (4 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent (minimum 16 years of education recognized by HEC/PEC).
- Relevant professional IT certifications (CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA A+, Network+) will be an added advantage.
- Experience & Key Skills:
- Minimum 05 years of post-qualification experience in IT support, network hardware administration, or office systems management.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in Windows Server environments, LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi networks, Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint), VPNs, file servers, backup systems, and IT procurement.
- Prior experience in public sector organizations, railway, infrastructure, or MDB/World Bank-funded projects is highly desirable.
3. Computer Operator (01 Post)

- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s / Graduation Degree (preferably in Computer Science) recognized by HEC/PEC.
- Experience & Key Skills:
- Minimum 02 years of post-qualification relevant experience in computer operations, data management, or related administrative functions.
- Demonstrated expertise in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and InPage Urdu.
- Hands-on experience operating scanners, printers, photocopiers, handling digital filing systems, database maintenance, and routine IT issue troubleshooting.
4. Junior Clerk (02 Posts)

- Age Limit: 18 to 30 Years (Includes 5 Years General Age Relaxation)
- Educational Qualification:
- Matriculation from a recognized Board of Secondary Education.
- Minimum typing speed of 30 w.p.m..
- 3 weeks Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) conducted by NITB.
- Experience & Key Skills:
- Minimum 02 years of relevant clerical or administrative experience in a public or private sector organization.

Terms, Conditions & Important Recruitment Instructions
- Contract Tenure: Appointments are purely contractual for one (1) year, extendable on a yearly basis upon satisfactory performance or until the project’s completion.
- Salary Package: Salary will be admissible as per the Standard Pay Package issued by the Finance Division for Project Pay Scales.
- Experience Calculation: Only post-qualification work experience will be considered toward eligibility.
- Foreign Degrees: Applicants holding foreign qualifications must provide an equivalence certificate issued by HEC/PEC.
- Government Servants: Candidates currently employed in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous organizations must apply through the proper channel with a departmental No Objection Certificate (NOC).
